Mpithi Primary School recently transformed into a bustling hub of green action! Learners, parents, educators, and the ISOW team united for the inspiring Rhandza Xikolo Xa Wena Campaign.

But this wasn’t just a cleanup day—it was a hands-on masterclass in shaping future Recycling Heroes!

Mastering the 3Rs:

  • Reduce: Learners learned to cut down on waste by starting with simple steps, like only taking the food they can finish.

  • Reuse: Giving plastic bottles a second life by repurposing them into creative household items.

  • Recycle: Putting the 2-Bag Separation at Source System into action to sort waste like pros!

The Power of Community

From understanding how recycling saves energy and protects our ecosystems to seeing the immense power of community collaboration, the enthusiasm from both learners and parents was unmatched.

We proved that big environmental changes start with simple, everyday habits. After all—a clean school is a happy school!
